Poetry Society Hosts Workshop April 24 (Yankton Press & Dakotan)

The South Dakota State Poetry Society invites anyone interested in writing, publishing, or listening to poetry to attend a Poetry Workshop from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on Saturday, April 24, in the Old Library Building on the Mount Marty College Campus, Yankton. Free parking is available in the Laddie E. Cimpl Arena Parking Lot, north of the Old Library Building.

Israeli novel, collection of Russian poetry win prizes for best English-language translation (Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune)

NEW YORK - An Israeli novel and a collection of Russian poetry have won prizes for best English-language translation. Gail Hareven's novel "The Confessions of Noa Weber" won the Best Translated Book Award for fiction. It was written in Hebrew and translated by Dalya Bilu for Melville home Press.
